We were shortlisted for the Times Higher Education ‘University of the Year’ in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2016.

The Times Good University Guide 2017 states:

"Nottingham is back in our top 20 after moving up five places this year, due mainly to a significant increase in student satisfaction. It is the biggest rise among the leading group of universities and enough to earn a shortlisting for our University of the Year award.

A member of the Russell Group, Nottingham has award-winning campuses in China and Malaysia as well as 330 acres of parkland in its home city, one of the most attractive university settings in the UK.

Our research was ranked 8th in the UK for Research Power in the Research Excellence Framework 2014 - the UK's official five-yearly assessment.

The University of Nottingham is ranked in the world top 70 universities for employability by the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2019.
