Summer School Careers Volunteer

Year 12 students sitting in a circle, listening to an experienced alum of the university

This summer, make the dream of university a reality

Could you inspire a group of high-achieving students to go to university? Each year, our Nottingham Potential and Sutton Trust Summer Schools provide Year 12 students with a unique opportunity to experience life at Nottingham, before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

How you can help

You don't need to have studied at Nottingham to take part, but you do need to be comfortable speaking to students about your own university experiences and career development at one of our networking sessions in July.

Application process

After we receive your application, we may contact you to complete a short biography. You will then attend a short networking session over a Thursday lunchtime in July. You can take part in one or more of these sessions - just select which days (and subject areas) suit you best on your application form; once we've received your application, we’ll be in touch to give you more information. For further application guidance, please take a look at our role description

Choose one or more of the following dates:

  • Thursday 5th July: 1-2pm
  • Thursday 12th July: 1-2pm
  • Thursday 19th July: 1-2pm
  • Thursday 26th July: 1-2pm
