About our speaker

Premier League, football league and international match director Steve Livesey has worked for Sky since 2003, after starting his career at the History Channel.

Steve's work covers many different aspects of directing. With Match Directing, he's responsible for all match coverage, from directing cameras to deciding when action replays and graphics go into the coverage. When Presentation Directing, he's responsible for the look of the show, working with the presenter and guests in the build-up, analysis and post-event coverage. At an Outside Broadcast he could either be directing the match, the presentation or both!
